Given that Matt Holland says Marcus Evans has been sounding out potential managers who would be your preference for the role? I have included some of those linked a few months back and some of the less realistic but still within a shout appointments.
TBH If we were to have George back I would love to see Keiron Dyer under his wing or Chambo as player assistant manager, not too sure either would happen at this juncture but that's what I wan't.
And whom ever it is they have to have this criteria absent from their CV
Irish ancestry and from f**king Yorkshire!!

It would make sense for us to adopt the Lyall system here.
What do I mean by that, well sack Milne as well and have Burley act as First Team Manager with Terry Butcher as his assistant - give him the reins of the club in essence the same way Lyall did between 1992-1994. Then appoint a Head Coach, ideally someone to develop, to be his Mick McgIven hopefully minus the truly shocking football. Someone who's young, but has also played in the top flight and internationals.
It's not just the team that needs an overhaul, it's the whole rotten club, let's get Burley and Butch in to make use of our clearly strong youth system again, get their thinking feeding into Evans.
I've voted based on who I think can get this squad playing. But in truth, none of them can. We may have to admit that whoever it is, might be doing a League one rebuilding job.

It's good that we're only 14 games in. We could potentially stay up if the right manager was brought in and given the right resources, like we did with Mick after the last Paul made a cock of it. We have to try - if not we're going to end up going like Coventry or worse, Portsmouth.
