That's our back 5. Maybe with Donacien instead of Spence but he did well enough.

The rest of the team worked hard and helped out in defence (apart from switching off at corners) but the real problem with this team remains that we're utterly toothless.

If we don't get our attacking play going (that will also lighten the burden on our defence) then we're fecked.

Agree on back 5, decent enough. but for a long time the problem has been midfield. They offer NOTHING by way of creative threat. Nothing. When we had a Celina or Lawrence you can get away with it a bit, and turn defeat into draws, draws into wins. Now, we are being found out in every game. There's no way this doesn't end in relegation.

Considering we were playing the top of the league at home it wasn't that bad.

But have to agree with the lack of creativity.

Nolan and Downes looked liked little boys lost.
We have to play more creative midfielders like Dozzell, Edwards and Chalobah.
And up front well... Poor old Freddie working is socks off gain on his own. Jackson literally out of his league.

I like Hurst as a person but if we do not get a result from Millwall , Preston or Reading then it's time to go so we can get a new guy in before Christmas.
