However, Like any job you know when managers are not good enough and football is no exception. Enough was said by current and ex players to know Hurst was not good enough for a club our size. The players did not really play for him and if his press conferences were anything to go by I would have switched off if I had been in the changing room.
Lambert has to prove himself but he comes as an experienced manager at this level, has played at the highest level and his double promotion Norwich side were a very good side.
Just a pity we didn't appoint him back in May.
