Seems to be a lot of players on that list who have drifted around but surely now we need a couple or three maybe leaders on the pitch to hopefully give confidence to the players that have come up from the lower leagues. Kaylen Hinds is a very very interesting one. 20 years old, moved to Wolfsburg from Arsenal last year for £2m, lost his way and after unauthorised absence his contract was terminated.

And presumbably a number of these free agents will be keeping fit in the hope of picking up a new contract. I see Steven Taylor has just signed for Wellington Phoenix. The sort of player that McCarthy signed that I really liked, I remember he almost played a sweeper role for us in a few games but he was directing everything from the back, to my mind that's the type of player or players we need to get out of this current predicament. | | | |
