Lambert has done some fantastic work to lift moods and spirits over this last week, but a win today would really help cement that. Oddly, in the position we find ourselves, there is a little less pressure on us in terms of our mindset approaching the next batch of games. We have to be looking for wins to get close. All we can do is try to get those and not worry about anyone else. There can be no looking at rival fixtures and thinking, “Well they are unlikely to win there so a point here for us would be be great.” All we can do is focus on ourselves and winning games in order to transfer pressure on those above us. Hopefully we can do that today and then use the next international break to continue working hard and come back positively, instead of looking like we’ve spent a fortnight being verbally abused and confused by our bosses. |  | | |  |
