What kind of crowd on Friday? 10:29 - Nov 20 with 8689 views | SomethingBlue | I'm expecting old-school, noisy Ipswich under lights, am I wrong? Feels like a really big one for our season, can't expect a win but I do expect a real battle and if we can come out on the right side I think it'll give us the momentum to pull away soon enough. Hopefully 20,000+ people are of similar mind. Really looking forward to it.

Yep. I've got Friday as a nice-to-have and Bristol City as a must-win, in truth, but anything we can get vs WBA would leave me greatly encouraged and hopefully people are similarly up for seeing how we can do.

There's 4k from the Karl Fuller idea (matched by the club) to add to the usual attendance for a start, plus those attracted by the £10 ticket and PL's encouraging start. I wouldn't be surprised at 20k.

Anyone who isn't going and isn't busy / working you should get yourselves down there. £10 to watch a game at this level isn't to be sniffed at. The atmosphere should be great, lets all get down to PR and get it rocking.

I do agree. Really, if 4,000 tickets have been given away for free, and there's a ticket promo of £10, plus the situation we're in, we should be hitting low 20's. Yes it's on SKY, but forget watching it on TV, get down to PR and make a difference! COYB

It's not 4,000 free is it? Thought it was £2,400 raised with the club matching that, but may well be missing something. Either way your sentiment is correct — anyone who can make it should be there.

Where has this 4000 tickets been given away, come from? Have I missed something? I know Karl Fuller had raised enough for 420 tickets, which the club subsequently matched and Karl added other people have further since brought tickets and added to the total, so I can imagine that is in the region of 1000 extra tickets. I only ask as I saw someone mention 4000 yesterday as well. Either way, good effort by all and hopefully we'll be looking at 20k+ on Friday night.

He raised enough for 2400. The club will match that. So 4800 given out if my maths still serves me.
