Football Book for a 7 Year Boy 13:03 - Nov 22 with 1028 viewsabingdon_blue

Due to all his friends supporting either Liverpool or Man Utd along with his obsesssion with Match Attax cards my 7 year old isn't really aware of teams outside of the Premiership (with the exception of Ipswich and Norwich). When I was younger I used to love learning all about the 92 league clubs with their strange nicknames, wonderful badges and unique stadiums.

So can anyone recommend a book that would get a 7 year olds attention and introduce him to the football league outside of the Premiership?

Something like this? I remember loving the old Rothmans and Playfair annuals when I was a nipper https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nationwide-Football-Annual-2018-2019-Stuart/dp/19075245

They often do books of all the teams stadiums in england's main leagues and even some non league, i remember having those when i was a kid in the early 2000s and it was a fun way to learn of all the clubs and nicknames like you say.

Do they not do the Championship cards anymore? I remember collecting them about 10 years or so ago, and then used to stay behind after games and get the players to sign them (Town and opposition teams). I think it was Panini that done them.

EDIT - it was Panini, just found it online.

I collected those, would always open the pack from the back first and get excited if the badge was Ipswich
