One of the first things he said and good to hear.
I think we'll make it.

Do you honestly think Evans will be willing to pay for the players we need to improve?

Yes if you stop the cross coming in those goals don't happen. But equally they weren't quality crosses by any means, Bart should have dealt with 2 and the centre halves should should have easily defended all of them.

So basically complete defensive failure at all levels.

Obviously having a dig at Bart being incapable of catching crosses

Get rid of those fcuking idiots we’ve got in the full back positions at the minute.

Spence is sh1t then he has a couple of half decent games where you think he’s got something then he’ll be even sh1ttee than what he was before & the process starts again.

Evans out

That's down to the players. Same players, same formation, same result. Unless he changes it, it wont change. Spence, shocking right back, Chambers shocking centre back. Barts mystery must be he was blinded in one eye that's all I can assume as he is now below standards isee at goals.

If chambers must play move him to right back and bring back wolfenden for centre of even toto. Any one at this moment is better as this formation and these players will relegate us. Need more steel in middle although not sure we have any one to play like a lukey hyam role.

PL has spoken fantastically well since coming in to be fair, saying all the right things, but we still make the very same mistakes time after time.

Good to hear?! He's been hear for nearly a month and he's only just acknowledging this??? Crosses into the box have been our achilles heal since the start of the season but, saying that, they should have all been defended far better than they were.

Indeed. While I'm pleased Paul's noticed, this is a glaring asset of our failure as a defensive unit. I'm worried it's taken this long.

Yeah you are right but at least he's brought it up now while there is still ample time to do something about it.

Well if he doesn't, Evans is going to have an even less saleable asset on his hands come May.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

We have a real lack of height (aerial presence), this has been our undoing for most of this season, either in attack or (especially) defence. It is more noticeable at games when you are pitch side. WBA where monsters with pace and tonight we really struggled when they put Diedhiou; on a £5mil game changer.

To be fair we have struggled with defensive height for over season, remember the late Owls goal last season from their big boy and we have only one of our own senior centre backs. I am sure our defence will be PL's priority in Jan.
