Hi, I'm Robert and I'm the Supporter Liaison Officer at Accrington Stanley. I know it's still a month away but I'm starting this thread to answer your questions about Stanley, or your intended visit to East Lancashire for our match (probably on Saturday January 5th 2019)
A quick heads up before any of you book train tickets to Accrington. Be aware that Northern Rail have been striking every Saturday for last three months. That has meant fans have not been able to travel past Manchester, Preston or Hebden Bridge (from Leeds)

You'll be able to get to Preston. Then train to Blackburn and bus replacement to Accrington. Trains do stop early on match days though.
Or there is an hourly bus from Preston to Burnley which stops in Clayton-le-moors, a 10/15 Min walk to stadium.
From Manchester, again it's a bus from there.

I'm liking the reverse psychology. We can't buy a win at the moment and last year we lost to Guiseley at home in the FA Cup. Wouldn't mind a replay and a trip to Suffolk. |
I was there.
I was working in the North West that week so made the trip to tick off another of the 92. It was not the greatest of games.
Really enjoyed my visit. Everyone I met was very friendly, had a couple of pints before the game in the main stand bar and then stood on the home terrace.
Great to see a smaller club bloodying the noses of more illustrious counterparts. Good luck for the rest of the season, the cup tie excluded. | | | |

You can't beat a terrace, shame it's open roof but sure there will be a decent atmosphere either way. | |
