There was outcry on here on the announcement that Town would be sponsored by a betting firm. Maybe this season's form is our punishment for selling our soul. This is driven by what initially appeared to be a bold appointment that promised much but ultimately delivered little other than disappointment - an obvious parallel to online gambling?
Or it could be a decade of poor decisions and under investment - you decide

Yes, it’s our punishment obviously, because every team sponsored by a betting firm is in the relegation zone

I think it’s more that we picked the cheapest one around with the stupidest, ugliest logo. And then we plastered it over a tremendously ugly kit. Which we then enhanced with completely inept management and a national league standard squad.

Scum top with Leo Vegas on their shirts. Leeds, Villa, Derby , Boro and Preston all have 32Red, Stoke have Bet365, Birmingham 888Sport, Blackburn 10Bet, Bolton Betfred, Brentford Leo Vegas, Bristol City Dunder, Hull City Sport Pesa, Forest Betbright, QPR Royal Panda, Swansea Bet UK.

Yeah, it's definitely the sponsor and selling our soul mate.

No, what we're seeing here is the inevitable result of a consistently half-arsed and directionless approach to the on-pitch matters finally catching up to us.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
