Who is to say that McGreal wanted the job? And whilst he is doing a good job at Colchester, would he have struggled with the same lack of structure that Hurst did.
I very much doubt McGreal would have made the litany of mistakes that Hurst did though and think he could be a very good manager. |  |

Completely agree with this.
Pre Hurst, him or Clarke of Bristol Rovers were the two I was desperate for us to hire.
Even my avatar, the stick I've given Hurst - I still believe he was worth a go in the summer.
Unfortunately, he was a train wreck.
