Your post is just a series of assertions without any evidence or explanation.

The distinction between a war and a military operation is pure casuistry.

Go and read Gordon Brown's autobiography, where he admits British intelligence said Saddam had the capability to build WRM but didn't have the hard evidence yet to prove he had WRM's and Blair/Brown went with what the US intelligence came back with. Where he also admits they weren't handed everything from the US.

But Blair wasn't interested and I'm sure his £6million a year from Chase helps him forget about the British soldiers who lost their lives

But isn't that the whole aim of a debate of opinions, people will have different opinions and some of those forceful opinions .

Remember the rule, don't take the internet seriously.

Appeasement in the late 1930s was needed to give the UK time to start rearming. Standing up to Hitler in 1936 or 1938 would have all but guaranteed defeat.

Of course, 'we' didn't defeat Hitler; the USA and the USSR effectively did that.

Much of the lack of action was down to Baldwin wasn't it?

He seems to escaped a bit of criticism here.

As for the OP, MT for me the most dislikeable.

There really needs to be categories though.
