Record breaking Daryl Murphy? 14:55 - Dec 17 with 1161 viewsSuperfrans

So, If Daryl Murphy comes back in January, that would be his fourth loan spell with us (on top of his permanent move to us), from three different clubs.

Does anyone know if a player has ever joined a club on loan more times?

It would surely be a record?

Paddy Kenny has been signed by Neil Warnock 5 times.
Peter Taylor signed Junior Lewis 6 times (and appointed him twice as coach).

Not sure about specific clubs though, it's surely even more rare?

And he was here on trial as a youngster.

Just a shame Forest are in with a sniff of the playoffs. I doubt he'd give up the chance of promotion in one of his last years as a pro, otherwise I think he'd be back like a shot to help us out.

Jon Obika went four times from Spurs to Yeovil, off the top of my head. Can't think of five-timer but would have to look.
