We just can’t pick more than 5 for the match day squad. We don’t need to cancel loans to free up spaces, We’ll just leave those out of favour that remain on loan in the stands.

Why waste wages on players that aren't going to play?
We should bin the following:
Janoi Donacien (clearly not in PL's plans)
Jordan (already gone)
Edun (see Janoi)
Walters (loan ends in January anyway and he's injured until March)
That just leaves us with Trev and Pennington, and in fairness to them, they are playing regularly. |  |

Totally agree we should move them on, my point was more that if for any reason we couldn't, we wouldn't be hamstrung in not being able to get anyone else in. A lot of posts have been centered around moving loanees on before getting new ones in, which isn't a requirement.

Donacien has been on the bench for every one of Lambert's matches bar the last two (when he could have been suffering from this virus that's going round the squad). I think the manager sees him as his reserve CB, rather than a primary option at RB. |  |

We cant send Janoi back so no point binning him. He'll be a squad option like everyone else and might rotate a but.
