I was in a pub last night, not unadjacent to Duxford speaking to a long term friend of a local lad made good, who is a long term injury. According to him, his friend had to pay for his own operation as the club would not fund it. IF true it might explain why Town have so many long-term injuries under the current regime. This was treatment above and beyond what the club offered and was recommended to him by Joe Cole, who shares an agent.

According to Wikipedia, born in Milton Keynes and moved to Norwich at a young age. No Duxford connection that I can see. | |
