The people who choose the leader are deluded enough to think he can win.

Will win? Why do you think that? The polls say otherwise and we now know May will be replaced. Corbyn will have to beat a fresh Tory candidate like Javid. Can't see it.

He did, but at the recent conference he put all options back on the table. Reading this, the Union paymasters won as McCluskey told him to back Brexit, the members lost.

Yes it is. That’s his response to the Tories tabling a 2nd vote. This reads as quite categorical, that he won’t call one if he was PM.

The polls?! Have you learn't nothing about the polls in recent years? Do we know May will be replaced? Even if she is, I have faith that the people of this country can't possibly vote for the Tories AGAIN. I mean, what will it take to say enough is enough?

I've learnt not to trust polls when one of the options is considered racist or stupid. If anything the Tories should be lagging in the polls with people ashamed to admit they would vote for them? Corbyn is behind massively if he doesn't support remaining in the EU. Something like 20 points. Your last paragraph shows how weak the opposition is. Remember I voted Labour at the last election. I was a Corbyn fan. It doesn't give me any pleasure to say I now think he's not up for it and needs to go.

It reads as he says it to me. Which is at this time he wants to get a better deal... but the party might decide on a second vote. No need to dress it up as anything else. Just go with what he actually said. You went for a clickbait headline but it's not quite what he actually said.

I've no skin in the game now other than to want the best outcomes for my UK based family, but if I was still in the UK I couldn't bring myself to vote for Labour any longer. That's coming from someone who has voted for them consistently in the past. I don't believe all the apocalyptic forecasts about what would happen if JC was to be PM, I don't believe he's a terrorist symapthiser, a mysoginist, an anti semite or a racist, but I do find him to be utterly uninspiring, incredibly weasely and for too long has been too willing to play both sides of the field. He was never Pro EU, and while I can respect that stance because of his political beliefs as a socialist, I can't respect that he has been happy to let the younger voters driving his popularity believe he's in line with what they want.

Where do I start? He is a weak leader. The majority of his own party don't support him. No clear position on Brexit for ages. Antisemitism. Poor opposition. Six tests for Brexit which are impossible to meet but Corbyn claims he can do. Demanding general elections when Labour has virtually no credibility left. Top Labour party members divided, Corbyn/Starmer etc. Links to questionable groups. Etc. Etc. I wanted him to succeed, I really did.
