Seemed pretty happy with the performance overall but critical of certain elements within the game. Particularly the way Chalobah switched off a bit after going ahead and conceding in the second half. |  |

He was very impressed with Sheff Utd and the way they used their formation and how everybody knew what their role in the team is. He said they reminded him of our play off team, not necessarily filled with star players but very organised and hard working. |  | | |

Some aren’t going to like it, but he was critical of both our full backs after the game. Mills thought they didn’t do enough in the attacking third even though the system Sheffield United played allowed them to get forward and exploit the space. Thought that was a very fair comment. | |

They played some nice stuff around our box but actually Gerken didn’t have much to do yesterday.
They were a better footballing side than I expected actually, well drilled knew their jobs etc.
On us we look like we have to rely on a mistake or a good goal to actually score atm, the last 2 games we have barely tested the opponents goal, I s a worry and something that needs to be addressed.
Encouraging signs though very slowly getting better but we’ve probably hit our limit in terms of performance with this current group. |  | | |
