That penalty was absurd, I can’t understand what was going through the ref’s mind.
Agree the second goal was a Gerken howler and not Spence’s fault either. He wasn’t exactly breaking his neck to get back and help out though was he? That languid style probably makes it look worse than it is but by God it looks bad.

I go ‘week in week out’, have a decent knowledge of the game. However, I disagree. I’m not suggesting he should be in the England squad, but get a grip. There are far bigger issues at Portman Rd at the moment than Spence. Those wanting a ‘young hungry tracksuit’ manager need to look at themselves.
