This is probably going to sound daft but I'm not sure we actually need someone who is an out and out goalscorer.
Don't get me wrong it wouldn't hurt but actually a mobile target man that can make the ball stick, relieve some pressure and bring others into play could well mean that we start to see goals from elsewhere.
I think a focal point up front is at least as important and probably more so than an out and out goalscorer.

No I see your point, and think you could well be right, especially if we could get a 3 in behind of Sears (LM), Lankester (CAM) and Edwards (RM) moving beyond Gestede it could work beautifully.
Still think Gestedes wages will make that deal unfeasable. | |
