Can we have CCV as well? Might be wrong but from what i've seen from Chalobah he's very hit and miss. 100% effort and running but perhaps not always what we need in a relegation battle. Again, i've seen limited games so maybe it's an unfair criticism. I wouldn't mind Bridcutt taking his place though. |  |

Why do you decide Elder is better than Kenlock (I assume Knudsen will have moved on in your hypothesis)?
Bridcutt had better be exceptional for that midfield not to be overrun even more than our current one is.

It's nowhere near enough though is it.
It's arguably an improvement but we are needing a step change and none of these are.
We need a Fraser or Celina, or the loan version of Bullard or Gio.
We need a player that will unlock and create as well as these three. |  |

with trev we are again developing another teams player for them. its all well and good having lads from these top clubs, but honestly, is it helping us? hes a young kid coming into the game, sure in 4/5 years time this will do him good, like AMN at the arsenal.... while we drop to the league below and he goes off to Napa for the summer with his boyz |  |

That regular back 5 plus Bart, Donacien and Nsiala has been poor all season but - and its been pointed out on here before - it hasn't been helped by players further up the field taking some of the pressure off the defenders. Chambers isn't the greatest but it cannot be underestimated what he does for this team with his leadership. A lot of the games , especially under Little Roy, him and Skuse were holding the whole team together and Chambers was everywhere busting his nuts. |  | | |
