Absolutely baffling that - I'm not a fan of the abuse he receives, but that was dire. Might well have relegated us. If we lose our heads now from that goal.

There are lots of things that have relegated us. And a lot of players who need to take responsibility for the position we are in. 20 minutes to resurrect hope.

And Spence is usually involved in 80% of the goals we concede

Along with Gerken, Bialkowski and Pennington. Knudsen gets the blame a fair bit and Chambers has given away a few. But it is all Spence's fault.

Watch back the second goal and tell me what his positioning about? Did he think we were attacking? Stood in space marking no one, goal comes from his side. Not a one off, just typical of his game.

All the defensive unit have made errors aplenty, but Spence the most obvious, last week he did not even need to get caught up with Hugill, the second goal he was out of position and just jogged back. Today, out of position, then no effort to keep the ball in play, he must have been sure it was a goal kick (although it was not), or he could just not be arsed.

He is the biggest turd in a bowl of turds, that’s for sure.

You're wrong. But you've clearly made up your mind so that's that. It seems that since he's actually been playing OK he's now being picked up for smaller mistakes than any of the other defenders.

It was right in front of us and I for one can’t see why on earth he just stood and ushered the ball out for a corner, it was clear the header came off our player and he was under no pressure whatsoever, there wasn’t a Milwall player within 5 yards of him so why he didn’t just turn and play the ball away is still baffling me 2 hours later

Wrong on what? His lack of marking for a goal from a corner he gave away from being daft? Another strike on the long list of mistakes he makes every week. If you are a defensive player who goes missing for periods of the game therefore conceding goals it makes you a sh1t player regardless of whatever else you do/

What do you mean "went missing for periods of the game"?

Watch back the second goal, I’m pretty sure he forgot he was defending.

If you check the footage, he was on the left-hand post when the corner came in. And when he comes out there are four Ipswich players to the right of him who then leave the two Millwall players free. So odd you pick out Spence and not Chalobah for example who left them unattended.

I pick out Spence because he’s the most consistant weak link at the back.

Spence watch on 19:39 - Jan 1 with 3927 views | Yallop | He's dreadful, switches off constantly. I read people saying except for the mistake at Boro he was one of our better players. Ridiculous argument that. You can't keep defending a player that makes big mistakes every game that lead to goals.

He was far from one of our better players at Boro, I’m not too sure many people can comment as there were only 362 of us there

Spence watch on 19:44 - Jan 1 with 3904 views | MaySixth | When we signed him he had a reputation as a very poor Championship player based on 50 or so appearances....he was an average League One player at best. It's shocking he is still playing

He was definitely one our better players at Boro. Not MOTM worthy but certainly top half if you ranked them in order.

I think that's between Pennington and Chambers TBH. Certainly as a pairing.
