Booking.com help 20:58 - Jan 2 with 971 views | BlueStreak | I have booked a hotel in Austria for 9 family members next month and have had to look at a change of venue for a couple of reasons. Anyway, I booked this hotel on a pay on arrival basis in the first instance, have now gone to cancel and the website is saying that full payment is required because it is 60 days before the trip. I haven't provided any card details so I am unsure what to do here. Any sensible advice would be very much appreciated! | | | | |

2 months before doesn't seem to make sense to me. As matey says, do have a read of the t&c, even for your own benefit, but no, pay nothing. I've always sympathised with hotels having to put up with late cancellations and would fully understand a demand for payment for as many as 9 people if you rang a few days beforehand. But not 2 sodding months, no way. Edit: I know you say next month, but you also state 60 days? Still, either way. [Post edited 2 Jan 2019 21:29]
