isn't that what Lambert just confirmed?

Having seen him play in both positions I would disagree with PL...right back is a much better position for him. In any case he will definitely be playing on Saturday.

I thought he looked good at Right Back earlier in the season, certainly better than Spence imo. Also adds some decent presence from set pieces.

If that is the case it is odd that nothing has been officially announced through the usual club channels. Wonder if he is going to be swiftly sold on?

Realistically that is probably all we would get for him, somewhere between 100-250k.

Isn’t Lambert effectively an official club channel?

Can we not give him back to Accrington in exchange for their swanky new changing rooms?

I find it strange, he really looked decent at RB considering these were his first games having jumped up 2 divisions there was clearly a player there

I'm not sure that he showed a great deal going forward but he was certainly good defensively against a couple of decent opponents. Certainly worth seeing him play there some more.

Won't that then mean the buying club will then have to jump through the same hoops we just have?

We tend to have an announcement through media channels opposed to relying on the manager verbally. It is normally at least followed up by a confirmation

He kept Lawrence very quiet in the Derby game i was impressed but like you say that was defensively, going forward he's pretty limited and Lambert obviously wants full backs to be able to push forward and deliver balls, support the wide boys.

I think he will be off either in this window or the summer, Lambert can't really rate him.

Having seen him play, I wouldn't have signed him myself. He's bloody awful like most of the recent intake. He won't make a jot of difference wherever he plays because he's not good enough to play in the Championship. There is a reason we are bottom and I don't get the over excitement about him staying on here.

It's time to make the best of it.

As long as he doesn't play him at Left Back. Thought he did quite well at Right Back.

No, the leave to remain wasn't related to the move, he's had to apply periodically for temporary status over the years and it's now been granted on a permanent basis.

We’ve seen nothing of him really, maybe him not playing is the reason we are bottom, considered that?
