Maybe if the brand of football that MM was dishing out each week had been better and a bit more attractive - lets be honest it has been so much better under PL apart from the results - then maybe the awful atmosphere around the club would not have happened or not have been so bad.
MM each week basically justified the rubbish they were playing and it was rubbish.

You see, i think ME is an absolute dream to work for as a football manager. Okay the budget aint great but he doesn’t pretend otherwise which is why Mick stuck with it. He allows his managers total control and trust which they all crave to create their own vision. Lambert is essentially laying blame at the feet of those before him in either not planning long term or trying to do too much too quickly. The blane with Evans is probably naivety and and being too trusting. Trusting fools with the family jewels. |  |

I blame the succession of managers who let go of our best players for nothing. If we wanted them to stay the manager would tell the owner/MD to offer new contracts.
And why couldn't Keane/Jewell/McCarthy see a player in the likes of Rhodes, Clarke, Marriott, Trotter, Hourihane etc
