Other things worthy of note...
This was the season Man City were relegated by Luton, Pleat ran onto the Maine Road pitch to celebrate as Cities hordes invaded.
Chelsea just avoided relegation from 2nd to 3rd tier!
Given that we had lost Robson, Brazil, Mills and Muhren during pre-season... our 9th place finish was creditable.
