TO ME: Some math on 18:00 - Jan 13 with 4542 views | Bluefish | Regardless of the fact the maths are wrong how many season tickets would we sell if match tickets were £12? Do you think the £12 fans would turn up every game or maybe just because it was a cheap one off? If people would go regularly with cheap tickets then they would buy an ST

TO ME: Some math on 18:05 - Jan 13 with 4509 views | clive_baker | I’m guessing you’re implying Evans should slash ticket prices permanently to £12? A couple of issues I foresee: 1) Doesn’t seem fair on us ST holders who have committed to c. £17 a match tickets. 2) Are you aware of the additional costs such as staffing and policing that are associated with doubling the attendance? 3) when was the last time we had 24,000 in the ground aside from a Norwich game, regardless of price? We didn’t manage it yesterday, nor did we against West Brom when it was £10 a ticket. 4) pricing is a very sensitive and difficult thing to get right. It’s all about perception, which is why the promotions are so effective. There would almost certainly be an uplift but you’ll find that once £12 became the new norm, attendances would still dwindle and we would be worse off. I do agree £30 is too high though.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments, the £30 vs £17 bit is slightly misleading as the £17 per match season ticket price is only available in the lower tiers, where the corresponding match day tickets are £25.
TO ME: Some math on 18:32 - Jan 13 with 4339 views | MrTown | Dear oh dear. It's more like: 16,000 x 24 = 384,000 21,000 x 12 = 252,000 can never really judge because of variant brackets of pricing. But on that basic formula Evans is filling the void again. And it's not a cheap void. But you can never tell because extra people = extra merch, food & drink.

TO ME: Some math on 18:54 - Jan 13 with 4257 views | factual_blue | 'Maths', not 'math'. And you need evidence to prove that this would be the case in real life. It's an economics conundrum, not a maths problem.

Extra food and drink sales opportunities+insufficient catering staff = what's the point?

TO ME: Some math on 19:04 - Jan 13 with 4203 views | TractorWood | Sort season tickets out and this argument works. I've been a season ticket holder and a match day merchant. Both deserve value but STHs need a good deal before tackling the latter. Legends was absolutey rammed at half time. They must have made a load more cash even though they didn't seem ready for it. The club could be a financial success if it wasn't run like it was 1990. 'We don't take card because it costs £30 a month'. [Post edited 13 Jan 2019 19:09]

there are 10,000 season ticket holders, and several hundred away fans so 10,000 x 12 = 120,000
