48% knew what they were voting for and voted for it. 52% voted for different things. So actually, their vote was in effect split. And even now they can't agree. Will of the people? Remain.

Without doubt.

Plus the vote was illegitimate thanks to voter fraud etc. We really should be having public trials and the dismantling of the apparatus of tax avoidance etc. which is a threat to our nation.

That’s illogical.

How arrogant to claim that leavers didn’t know what they were voting for.

“Leave” means leave.

He didn't say they didn't know. He said they had a variety of different (and not necessarily compatible) ideas of what Leave meant in practical terms.

Not everybody wanted an instant and complete break with all aspects of the EU and no trade deal going forwards.

Although I'm not convinced they all knew what they were voting for (misleading claims on the sides of buses etc muddied the waters), the point made is that some were voting about immigration, some about sovereignty, some about bent bananas etc. Even now, many Brexiteers want different things. The Remain side knew exactly what they were voting for.

Nonsense....most had absolutely no idea what they were voting for.

For some, it was a protest vote against Westminster, others the promise of £350 million for the NHS, others because of the lies they were told about 80 million Turks joining the EU, others because they don’t like Jonny Foreigner taking their jobs.....it was based on emotion rather logic! Unfortunately, we’ll all be paying heavily for decades to come because they believed this crap!

We didn't understand that racism and xenophobia underpin the leave argument.

More arrogant to assume that 100% of the people who voted remain knew exactly what they were voting for.

From what I can work out a large proportion of the British population had little idea (if any at all) what they were voting for and ultimately the negative propaganda swayed enough people to go for what is proving to be the wrong option.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Listening to R5L this evening on my way home they were discussing a group of leavers that they had on this morning and half of them had changed their minds, all had different reasons for voting leave, someeven to “give the govt a bl00dy nose” - what kind of reason is that to vote for such a generational changing situation, how many people voted that way? I’d say a good 4-5% minimum
