Thing is, for a club in their position, Allardyce is the let's stay up, it won't be pretty but we can get the results and then spend another lot of Premier League income actually in the Premier League and look to go again with someone else.

Allardyce turns down Huddersfield on 22:02 - Jan 15 with 1253 views | vilanovablue | Even Allardyce can't save Hudds, they are down this season. They probably have sensible contracts and parachute payments. A well run club who will probably do OK next season. Think Burnley.

Why not? Guaranteed chance to manage in the Premier League (even if it is only for a few months) versus a decent shot at it; better wages (they will have parachute money that Norwich only get if they go up) and a well-run club that will suit his style of play. Yes, Norwich won't want him to go. They won't be able to stand in his way though.

Allardyce turns down Huddersfield on 12:22 - Jan 16 with 884 views | JammyDodgerrr | His comments were interesting and he's spot on. I think it's sensible to avoid because they are dead in the water, they simply cannot score at all.
