Emmanuel hardly ripped it up at Shrewsbury did he? (n/t) on 17:10 - Jan 18 by ITFCMonk
What exactly did he need to do to ‘rip’ it up? Played 20 or so games i think
Only played 14 games in the league. Hasn't assisted a single goal. Wasn't swapped for another Right Back when the caretaker manager came in and has only been used sporadically since.

To be fair the fans were quite critical of him and the moaners wanted him out. He had a great season the season before though. I guess it's the environment rather than his ability, but (perhaps through no fault of his own) he hasnt down enough yet to be a regular starter here.

They are worse off points wise, yes. However, having gone through 2 manager changes and 1 care taker manager, in 6months,it’s not a fair comparison
Okay, it will be a great comfort for Blackpool fans to know that they have gone to hell and back since 2010 but it's okay because they got taken over by a........ and its not a fair comparison. The root cause aside. They are considerably worse than last season.

Not really sure what your point is - regardless of the reasons the point remains that Emmanuel recently couldn’t get into a rather poor Shrewsbury side
Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010

He was bought in by Askey and played well under him. James Bolton was 1st Choice last season and when Askey was sacked, Bolton was put back in the side. My point is the hierarchy changed and Emmanuel was replaced by the guy who should never have been dropped.

What has happened at Blackpool is totally different.

To be fair, I wasn’t slating Emmanuel, just making an observation to people getting slightly overzealous with his return.
But Bolton has a good season apparently last year under Hurst and looking on Shrews forum shouldn’t have been dropped for Emmanuel in the first place.
