And why it matters:

“History instills a sense of citizenship, and reminds you of questions to ask, especially about evidence,”

This isn't just about studying history is it. it's about the decline in 'society' & we all know where that started.
I was listening to the radio the other day, there is among some concerns that subjects like history & the art are no longer being studied in the UK because the jobs obtainable after graduating pay very poor wages so the students / graduate has no hope in repaying the loans.

It's all a growing mess

It’s alright, if nobody is studying history then this article will be forgotten about in a few years time

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Yeah that's the trouble with history, it's just one bloody thing after another.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Never heard that but it does ring true, we seem to be a nation that learns nothing
