Same for most of the season though. Third division players can't compete with Norwich who are going to be promoted. We cannot be bitter, they've done well, it's just a shame our owner isn't willing to change.
Why on Earth did people down vote this post so many times?

We had half chances, from the away end it's difficult to say if they were chances or not. Chalobah fed Harrison who with a better strike could have scored. Keane had an effort well defended at the near post. If judge had sorted his feet out better first half he could have really tested Krul.
Why is it outrageous to suggest the two best were the attackers? Our defenders didn't exactly cover themselves in glory. Sears did little of note and went off injured, Skuse gave away a lot of fouls and deservedly got booked. Chalobah? Bart?
Judge had a half chance on his right and Bishop had one at the end. Other than that we never looked like coming even close to scoring
It’s ridiculous as for all their toiling they never fashioned a proper chance and we were goalless. Chalobah was our best player - although I take the point that there weren’t many candidates
Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010
Judge should look at himself. He was wasteful in good positions numerous times. It's not like he's looked significantly better than his teammates since he arrived.
YOu could put Jim Magilton in the team tomorrow and he would still look hacked off if people weren;t doing what he wanted and expected even though he is 45 and can't run - it's clearly just his character

I didn't really like seeing him bawl at the youngsters after he'd pinged an over ambitious pass out for a throw. That kind of thing characterised the later part of his playing career here for me and soured the contribution he made to getting us up. I never rated him as a captain, he came across as a bully. That carried over into his management career and ended his stint at QPR.
You should listen to the Blue Monday podcast with David Johnson to see what Jim brought to the squad and the team - his attitude just raised everyones standards both in training and in games.

Still don't like the guy. Respect what he did as a player, mainly his first couple of seasons, but not a fan of his. Didn't he shag one of his player's wives as well? That's not really cricket, is it.

I though Judge and Chalobah were the two players who looked like making something happen.
In another few games Judge should be back to match fitness.

I thought Chalobah was good. Judge looked rusty to me, he got in lots of good positions and was involved a lot but his end product was off. He looks like he can make stuff happen though and I'd like to see us persevere with the system from yesterday but with Bishop or Downes coming in for Nolan.
