Seen some mixed reviews of his performance yesterday and there were certainly times when he and others - Knudsen most glaringly, but also unsurprisingly - clearly weren't on the same wavelength. But I thought in general he set an example to some our guys in wanting to get on the ball, be brave and try to make a few things happen. Didn't quite come off but he found some very good areas and is looking sharper. I really, really hope we can get him sorted for next season as he would make aspects of L1 look easy. |  |

He is clearly very talented and crucially, wants the ball. Seemed very frustrated when his touch let him down or a pass didn't quite come off yesterday. He will obviously be able to shake off the rustiness with time. It's a shame that time is something we don't have.

I'm saying that he is a different sort of player to Skuse and anyone with any sense of football knowledge could recognise that they are both important in different ways.
