Knowing our fans probably get high fives as he puts them 1-0 up.

He should get a small reception, like applause when his name is read out. Or nothing at all.

We should clap him as without his goals last season we wouldn't have finished 12th.

It wasn't his fault Hurst told him he wouldn't fit into the way he wanted to play. We know that Waggy didn't want to move, had moved to Ipswich along wife and child. He had even persuaded his parent to move too.

Good luck to him. I just hate Derby and hope he doesn't score tomorrow evening!

You sure about that? I thought that waghorn told Hurdt that he wanted to leave, didn’t want to play for Ipswich and put in a transfer request.

Why would anyone think he should (or would) get a hostile reception? Weird.

He should get nothing short of a very good reception.

I personally don’t think he should get any kind of reception.

Played for us for one year, did well for us and then asked to leave.

One season, scored a few, doesn't even make my top 40 favourite town players. For me he's just another opposition player and means nothing

We’ll be good again... one day

Welcome back son.

Hardly a long serving Town legend is he.

Just a thought.....
Maybe after a few weeks of preseason, Waghorn realised the car crash Hurst was creating and wanted out.
It should also be pointed out that Waghorn was still contracted and Hurst could’ve turned round and said you’re not leaving. However, Hurst obviously sanctioned the move.
Hurst obviously believed Jackson and Harrison could replace him and Garner. The rest is history

Not the chocolate sort though.

They make your cup all messy.

Exactly this.

Him and Garner saw what Hurst was like and wanted out.

Don’t let facts get in the way of a good fable being spread.
