I consider myself a grown man 15:43 - Feb 12 with 2623 viewsWarkTheWarkITFC

A responsible person. A careful one. A sensible parent. An intelligent human being. Someone with a grasp of right or wrong and someone who can spot injustice.

But I'm sorry. The suggestion by Lambert that he'd happily knock out a Norwich coach amuses me.

Yes it's tinpot and childish and silly. But after having a manager who wanted to continually pick at old scabs with the fans and reopen cans of worms, there's something quite warming about having a manager who deeply dislikes the scum..

There. I've said it.

It's nice to have a manager that talks up the club rather than talks it down.

I had no issue at all with him wanting to bang out their bench. We need that fire. I enjoyed Downes sticking that little sh¡t Buendia up in the air too. Beautiful.

I know I should be the better man but I agree I was mightly amused by all of this and I really enjoyed Downes kicking them up in the air as well.

Spot on Joseph, spot on.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

What a great post, having watched Ipswich for many years Lambert is like a breath of fresh air.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we will get absolutely nowhere without a bit of bite and aggression in this squad. We need backbone, resilience and steal. We’ve been seen as an easy game all season sitting at rock bottom.

But Lambert is trying to change that, Chambo is trying to change that, we have to change that.

We need that fight and passion, all the great teams and managers have that edge.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

When Downes came on I was frantically looking on Bet365 for a way to bet on him to get a yellow or red...no luck...and he promptly smashes Buendia for a yellow card
