I had only been in there once before about 15 years ago and wasn't expecting much. Going there after a lovely pint of Brewer's Gold in the Thomas Wolsey was a bit of a contrast. | |

It genuinely only opens for matchdays and random events, I have no idea how it’s still going.
The Stella is usually ok after a while because they presumably sell a fair bit of it, but I’m always a bit worried when I order a pint there. |  | | |

Ah Speckled Hen. One of the few English beers I see imported to NYC on tap. Which is a shame, seeing as the water used to wash my knackers tastes better.

I think they're the oldest operating brewery in the US. Not a bad drop at a push. Good for a hot day. My local supermarket sells it in a big can for about a quid too.

The US does seem to have a habit of importing really average or random UK beers. Old Speckled Hen, which has firstly dropped in quality after GK bought it from Moorlands (or bought Moorlands) and secondly was quite an average beer to begin with.
In Vegas I remember seeing Boddingtons and Newcy Brown. I've nothing against either but I can't see either are that special. |  |
