I think there might be a teeny weeny bit of a connection between Brexit and plant closures.

(as a side point, that article states that the factory was up to full capacity and 50% of the cars produced there were shipped to the buoyant market in the US - not something I'd seen acknowledged elsewhere. Flies in the face of the commonly recycled argument that they were a busted flush already).
