Home positive air vent’ system reviews please! 19:09 - Feb 19 with 1203 viewsBluespeed225

Just wondered if any TWTDers’ have any experience of Positive air pressure ventilation systems? Just trying to get rid of a little condensation in an exposed bedroom. These systems were suggested, about £400-500. Seem easy to install, cleans air for the whole house.

if it's just a single room a small heat recovery ventilation system would be more energy efficient (and less than £500). with a positive pressure system aren't you pushing our warm air and bringing in cold air?

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

You can get a dehumidifier for about £100. You will be surprised how effective they are.

They are, we empty ours daily! It’s just an ongoing annoyance really.

There is a ‘passive’ option, fits through the wall. 60’s built bungalow, no air bricks. Cavity wall insulation done in 80’s, now seen as a hinderence! You are right though, air introduced from outside to push out the moist air.
