Right at the start of the film when Foley is in the back of the truck trying to get paid for his cigarettes the buyer says to him...

"Come on, you ain't dealin' with Johnny Bananas"

That is clearly a bit of comedy that is lost on me. Who or what was Johnny Bananas in the US in the 80's as I cannot remember it passing over to the UK at all. Thanks
