Where have you been and where would you not want to go back to? Might help us narrow it down.

You can enjoy seeing a strong Socialist party up close while you're there too.

The in-laws retired to the Algarve two years ago. Oddly enough, most of the ex-pat Brits there appear to at least have a smattering of Portuguese(wholly credible that it's a 'smattering' rather than 'fluent'given that most natives will openly admit that Portuguese is a language at least as frustrating and contrary as English), eat a fair amount of the local food and are at least partially involved with their local communities. The place clearly attracts the RIght Sort.

Get a flight via Iceland and spend a long weekend around Reykjavik (flights cheaper that way too) 👍

I spent many a happy night having a few beers with Carlos Valderrama in Montpellier. Lovely place.

I'm warming to you Zed.

I've not given up on you doing a tasteful nude scene just yet.

If I were to do that, it would be deeply disturbing and likely to induce fitting in the spectators.

Well, it has done on most occasions in the past.

Yes, but watch out for pilgrims. Ended up sharing a room with a German couple who took the hairshirt thing *very* seriously. They stunk, and snored- especially the woman. Ball's.

Most major cities, a lot of Eastern Europe I have not been to Lisbon though. Also if a one world carrier flew there from New York it would be helpful.

I am looking at Lisbon as a possibility.
