... buy's the club off them. Madness.

Be careful what you wish for.

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

Boo-hoo Mr Duchatelet. Maybe you should be reminded that caveat emptor - buyer beware - is the rule in this country. You thought, like some other football club owners at the time, that you could throw some of your spare change at the club you barely knew, get promoted to the Prem, and cher-ching, cash in. Tough.
True that the EFL massively changed the goalposts, but that's their perogative. Until we have a Premiership 1 and 2, the gulf between the top flight and the rest will only move one way...

And now he's upset because the fans are protesting against him, and potential buyers are realising that they won't get away with running the club into the ground like he has.

And why would we ever have a Premier League 1 & 2, when it would cost the big boys some more of their income?

Madness, obviously never going to happen.

He acquired Charlton for the highly desired asset of land in London. He's now stating that the club can be gone for free but a proposed buyer must pay market rat for the land.

He's an absolute fruit loop, openly admitted Charlton takes up 2% of his business time. Obviously had no idea what buying a football club entailed in terms of consistent attention.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Well, Duchatelet also owns 3 other football clubs & has bought & sold 2 others in recent years, so hard to believe that he doesn't know how football clubs work.

Apologises, meant specific to English football.

His other clubs are very small entities in comparison to Charlton as well.
German 3rd division
Hungary 1st divison
Spanish 2nd division

In one of his statements on the club statement, he accused his own fans of wanting the club to fail. He also received similar protest in his only other big purchase Standard Leige where he was also driven out of the club and subsequently sold.

He hardly screams to me the pinnacle of a desired football owner.

Does he actually call them fans now? I believe Ms Meire called them customers. That one always goes down well.

I think we will end up with a premier league one and two but half the 2nd league will be made up of Man U res, Man City Res, Chelsea res (one and two) etc.

You know it will happen, shortly after we're not in place to be any part of it.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
