I'm taking my missus (boo hiss) to the game tomorrow for her first ever match and she's veggie (boo hiss)
I've never paid much attention, what's the food options in or around the ground for her? Anybody know? Herbi?

Try the Museum Street Cafe, pretty tasty and good value the one time I've been there. Also, although not in Ipswich, the Walnut Tree at Thwaite is really good: https://www.thewalnuttreethwaite.com/

Ive posted many times on this recently. Dont wait until you get in the ground. I can only relate to Bobby Robson stand. They only have a couple of veggie pies at each kiosk. Havnt been able to get one on last three tines I tried.. Plus they have been closing kiosks lately and will unlikely cater for the expected larger crowd tomorrow.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

Thanks for the advice, I'll let her choose cafe or street food and be sure to pack a bag of crisps and a can of guiness

Took the missus to her first match last year whilst she was partaking in the 'Veganuary' b0ll0cks.
Managed to get tickets for Block D, so we 'lunched' in the bar/lounge there. I had a lovely big Portman Pie and a Bovril, whilst she had a bag of chickpea puffs she'd brought with her, and a bottle of water. A good time was had by all!
Do you mean missus as in actually married. Or missus as in your currently favourite female (has to be read in the voice of Martin from Friday Night Dinners)?

Nosy, aren't you?

It's important. If it's his missus as in actually married, I'd like to know how the flippity flip anyone even gets passed the engagement sage without ever taking the old girl on a trial run to FPR. It was the first test she had to pass for me.
edit - actually it was Everton in my case not FPR. We won 3-0 so I thought she must be a keeper.

Nah not married, been there, done that, didn't like it very much.

Pretty sure that as from last year any Guiness is OK including cans and bottles.
Red wine is her poison of choice, that's a fricking minefield.

Even the Portman Pies, which used to be good, are sh1t these days. It's all been outsourced. Better off having lunch in town.
I don't have the frothy reaction to Marcus as some of our supporters, but the lack of thought given to the stadium and catering is shoddy for someone who made their money in hospitality.
Don't get me started on the lack of outreach locally. The thread the other day about Norwich academy training sessions in Ipswich made my blood boil and in my football world rather than seriously important stuff, is deeply concerning and worrying. First time I've written to the club in yonks.
