It's a good read actually - or listen as the case my be. He narrates it himself which is good, I finished Kevin Keegans recently but he couldn't be arsed to narrate it and it lost something because of that.

Has he written a good book yet though? I'm surprised he has that reputation because the ones I've read by him just seem to lack any context to anything he posts - like he is a robot writing them.

He's also not very good at fact-checking or doing much actual investigative journalism, more recycling widely-known stories but giving them a pompous Daily Mail style. His book about Charles last year was heavily criticised. | |
