I posted about this the other week, but think it got lost in the plethora of matchday posts. I usually park on Pauls Road or nearby on a matchday, and walk past Bibb Way en-route to the ground (off Portman Walk, opposite the bus garage). It's marked as a private road, with signs threatening clamping should you park there without authorisation. It's usually empty as I walk up, but has plenty of cars parked there on the way back. Given that the Protection of Freedoms Act has outlawed clamping on private land, I can't see any enforceable penalty for parking here. Has anyone parked here in the past, or know anyone who has/does? | |
