Their goals yesterday 13:46 - Mar 3 with 1182 viewsreusersfreekicks

What was that defending yesterday? First goal Chambers gets caught by a simple ball over his head, Collins has no pace to close down and both Collins and Pennington get sucked to the ball leaving 3 defenders on one man and another on his own!! Then for the winner Nsiala messed up getting the ball of their block and Chambers gives the scorer a free run at goal!! Ffs foul them if you have to. We created enough chances to score 2 or 3 goals but all season our defending has been league 2 std. Lambert has not changed that at all. Thought you sort out a failing team from the back first...

Collins was not fit and should not have been playing.

He comes across to cover and Pennington still does the same leaving the goal scorer unmarked. Chambers was at fault and so was Pennington but it also doesn't happen if Collins had been 100% (he would have got over quicker meaning Pennington would have got to Oliveira).

The second goal is why Nsiala is simply not good enough but Chambers should still have done better and Bart seemed a little slow off his line. Overall, our season in a nutshell. Just not good enough from a number of players.

Spot on.... add to that the lack of goals, and that is the reason we are where we are, and finally going down.

Sadly true.

So much has gone against us this season - some debatable red cards and injuries to key players but the lack of threat and continual stupid mistakes have been the worst of it.

It feels like if matches had finished after 80 minutes we and Norwich would both be mid-table (what looked likely when we played them at Portman Road). Instead virtually every match they snatch a late winner/equaliser while we throw away anything we looked to have.

Bart does not deserve any blame there whatsoever, Bart probably and quite rightly thinks Chambers is going to deal with it.

Instead our club captain! stands out of the way and lets the striker run through its pathetic. He deserves no defence or excuses he has been poor all season in my opinion.

It is no coincidence our defence has been most solid when he was out injured

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

The sooner we have a clear out the better. Now is the time to build a team around our young players . Our young players have to be the equivalent of the Busby Babes. For that reason we now need to release Bart/knudsen/Skuse/Chambers/Ward/Spence and Sears. Followed by most of the loan players. Could be a good move to try and keep hold of Judge & Bree.

There is a good team to be built for League One but it does not include the players who have had MORE than their chance at this club. Build a team around our young stars and do not sell them once they have a value.

Evans must grow a pair and finally rid this club of the poor players taking an easy wage for contributing very little. The supporters deserve far better so wake up Mr Evans and wise up Mr Lambert.

Last minute of the game and Chambers should of got closer and haul him down before he got into the box . Abysmal defending as usual. Maybe Bart could come out a lot earlier and command the penalty area better when a ball over the top arrives. Teams find it to easy to score against us. Yet we still persevere with the same players who have been consistently inadequate for a long time before Hurst & Lambert were appointed.

Roll on next season when the young players SHOULD get their chance.
