Is a quote i've actually seen, as well as paying for his air fare.

I mean sure, he's only our arguably most committed captain. Fair enough if you think the time is right for him to move on or whatever, but the fact we have fans with this mindset is ridiculous.

Could you imagine the uproar if he decided to put his family first!

Even if we didn't offer him a new deal! Lol

If he does go, which seems unlikely, it would be hilarious if he did get them to pay the airfare. First class of course.

That would cause him a bit of a problem when it comes to checkin at the airport, when they ask him "Did you pack your bags yourself, sir?" If he has to say, "No, some random keyboard warrior did it for me..."

Do they not think of these things?

I have never quite understood why a stupid message posted somewhere on the internet needs to be posted again to a wider audience. Just ignore the fools.

It's because football fans generally are usually pretty thick. I'm sure if you looked on Man Utd or Braintree or Yeovil or Sheffield Wednesday forums you'd see some trash too.

The thing is, it's all meaningless. Best not to get too het up about it.

Some Derby fans want Lamps out when he was a hero a month ago!

Of course you always get the idiots, it just never fails to amaze me. Not like he's been playing with a broken wrist just to be able to put on our shirt.

I understand that he's getting older and his ability is probably on the decline, but I find the lack of respect on the news comments for a player who's given so much for this club to be really disappointing.

Regardless of how good or bad people think Chambers is, the fact is that those making negative comments could only dream of having the footballing ability of an established Championship player.

I often wonder what they do for a living (or don’t). I can only assume they carry out their daily work with perfection.

A personal favourite is when someone in the crowd declares they are better than (insert name). I heard a guy shout, “I’m better than Spence” (wow, remember him). I turned round to see a man very red faced, weighing about 20st! I just looked and shock my head with dismay.

I bet its not the same bloke who offered to drive Priskin to his next club which happened to be in North Ossetia a country which, at the time, was listed by the foreign office to avoid.

....it wouldn't do me any good.

I just have to assume that they are kids, attentions seekers, trolls or a combination of all three.

The internet is a breeding ground for these faceless knobheads and obviously social media gives them the opportunity to behave in a certain way, but you see them on match days as well.

Maybe I'm just getting old and less tolerant.

In fact I definitely am.

The unfortunate thing with the FB gang is that you can see their pics and are clearly not children. They do write and act like them though.

And the old bunch just write things like 'Hello'.
