Played a blinder there. Left as saw the signs that the team had reached the end of the road. Now this seasons disaster is on someone else’s watch and he’ll get ample budget in the Summer to rectify things, in addition to a hefty contract

I’m still to be convinced he’s an elite manager (perhaps harshly!) but if part of being a modern day manager is putting yourself in the right place at the right time, he’s absolutely nailing that one
