People should have admitted a general election was inevitable back when it first became obvious that her deal wouldn’t pass and that she wouldn’t be able to make the changes required. That was a relatively long time ago now.
The MPs who gave her a vote of confidence in her ability to avoid the mess it has subsequently turned into should hang their heads in shame.
