If the EU say no extension 22:15 - Mar 12 with 692 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | Assuming they don't vote in the house to leave on no deal, what would happen. Would that force us to leave on no deal? Not that they would think it's in there interests just curious
If the EU say no extension on 22:19 - Mar 12 with 673 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Now that the clock has run down, to honour the parliamentary vote would mean revoking Article 50. May might go no deal, revoke the article or just pretend we have extended it and the EU have agreed and hope no one notices.

If the EU say no extension on 22:44 - Mar 12 with 592 views | ZedRodgers | For the tomorrow’s rejection of no deal to be binding and if an extension cannot then be agreed, the only way forward is to look at Article 50 being revoked. Systematically, the only next step that ensures all previous votes are binding is for a new vote in parliament on whether Article 50 should be revoked. This will all depend on the outcome of tomorrow’s vote on no deal. As it stands, May has worded it in a way that means it’s specifically rejecting leaving without a deal on 29th March. It would still allow her to use no deal as the default following any extension. Cooper, Grieve, Boles etc. have tabled an amanedment to turn the vote into a simple rejection of leaving without a deal at any time or in any circumstances. The success of this amendment or any others like it will be important.
