Kinda made sense as I wrote it, now I read it and I too think wtf
What I'm trying to get at is the mixed posts on the forum about lack of trust in lambert going forwards especially if he's going to be using the youngsters.
I was using England as an example of how majority of people are happy with his tenure and use of youngsters and not really saying much about whether or not it would actually bring a trophy as a reward.
Yet there a lot of people are saying how on the club front, Ipswich may struggle to get promotion next season if we play the clubs youngsters... and non immediate promotion is regarded as a failure.

The subtle difference being that many are happy with England as they reached the World Cup semi finals, are in the semis of the new Euro League thing and there is promise they actually go on and go one step further
