i was thinking the other day i wouldn't have minded him here for next season as a experienced head.
The Achilles, must have been weak and he was advised to not play again, you suspect.

He had a good career on the whole. Pretty sad news as he still looked more than capable at the start of this season. Unsettled the scum and brought about Edwards' opener.

Sad news, he could have played a pivotal role here this season but clearly wasn't fit enough. I don't think I've ever seen a more unfit player for his cameo again Bolton, it was a sign of how desperate we were
